Hello everyone!
My name is Floella, and I’m the new hairy lurcher on the block. I’m bouncy, affectionate, and love nothing more than cuddles, fuss, and playful games with my carers. I’ve got a big heart, a silly sense of humour, and a talent for making people smile.
I’d love to be the only dog in a calm, loving home with adopters who can give me gentle support and reassurance - I can be a little uncertain in new situations. But once I feel safe, I’m a total lovebug, full of funny little quirks that will brighten every day.
Okay, okay, I suppose some of you may have spotted it: I’m not really a hairy lurcher - it's ME....FLO! A girl has to do something to find herself a home, doesn’t she?
I’ve been watching my friend Billy, a gorgeous hairy lurcher, go viral when his picture was posted on social media. People fell in love with him instantly, and the home offers came flooding in. I was thrilled for him - truly - but it made me feel a little sad and overlooked. I've been waiting ten whole months for someone to notice me...
So, I decided to try wearing the best furry coat ever and pretend I was a hairy lurcher to see if people would fall in love with me, just like they did Billy.
But, here's the truth - it’s never about looks, it's about what’s inside your heart (although, I must admit...I do look rather fabulous in my new “hairy lurcher” outfit!)
I’m still me - full of love, mischief, and snuggles - and I hope someone will look past the coat and see what a beautiful soul I really am, both inside and out. I hope they realise that I’m a girl worth giving a forever home to.
