It's National Puppy Day, and did you know even puppies can find themselves in rescue?
Here at Forever Hounds Trust, we have rescued many puppies over the years. Whether they've been found abandoned as they were an accidental litter, an expectant mum arrives in our care, or relinquished by their owner as they can't care for them, we've had to deal with the pitter-patter of tiny paws on many occasions!
Pictured is Blue, who came into our care as an emergency intake last year. At just nine weeks old, his mum had to sadly let him go as he was dangerously impacting her health due to a totally unexpected allergy to him, on top of a serious medical condition. We couldn't let a pup of this age go into kennels, so we urgently sought, and found a foster home for him

As you can imagine, puppies need a specific level of care, whether in kennels or foster, and that doesn't come cheap. You can help us look after some of our littlest hounds by purchasing a puppy care pack as a virtual gift - a 'birthday gift' for that special someone is a 'gift of life' for a puppy in need. ❤️
To mark National Puppy Day, these packs are just just £5. What's £5 to help save a puppy's life?
Blue is now happily homed with his lovely mum (pictured), and a bit bigger than he was when these photos were taken!
